Initiators
Philipp Graf von Hardenberg is an entrepreneur
in Hamburg and since 1990 involved in many honorary
educational projects as well as managing private
schools and boarding schools for several years. He
managed Steven Spielberg's "Shoah Foundation" in
Germany and, together with a team of highly professional
experts, developed pedagogical teaching methods on
CD-ROMS. These methods are still being applied in
many schools all over Germany. In Berlin, Graf Hardenberg
was instrumental as Chairman of the Supervisory Board
of the International School Berlin/Brandenburg (ISB)
in working out concepts for the rescue and further
existence of the school. ISB is a successful, internationally
accepted private school today. For several years,
he has been chairman of the board of the "Stiftung
Louisenlund", one of the leading state approved
private boarding schools in Germany with 360 pupils
including more than 280 boarders.
Graf Hardenberg initiated and founded the "Children's
World Academy Foundation" and the "Yaowawit
School Kapong".
